New Teaching Tools and Learning Environments

May 1 & 2, 2003

OVC Lifetime Learning Centre

Goal of the Conference: to examine how the ubiquity of technology and information is transforming how we teach, how our students learn and how we might use technology to enhance teaching and learning.

The conference will be a unique opportunity to hear from and dialogue with internal and external innovators, take a critical look at the impact this growing use technology is having on teaching and learning, and finally, help shape how the University of Guelph responds to these developments.

This conference is intended for anyone with a role to play in teaching and learning and an interest in how this institution moves forward on these issues.

Conference Streams

  1. Emerging Technology/New Teaching Tools
  2. Technology & Organizational Change in Higher Education
  3. Connecting to Students Using Technology: Mediated, Field, and Experiential Learning
