Linking Your Classes Together

In the Classroom . . .

In the Classroom . . .

  1. You are TAing a lab in which a living animal must be killed to obtain a muscle preparation. Several students approach you and say that they have read over the experiment, understand the procedure and the expected results, and do not believe an animal's death would help their comprehension. They ask to be excused from the exercise. What might your response be?
  2. A student asks you a question to which you do not know the answer. What might your response be?
  3. You have a very quiet student who has obviously done the readings but who does not participate in class. How could you encourage this student to speak out?
