A variety of roles and responsibilities may be closely linked with your TA position. This section outlines some of these roles and offers suggestions for maintaining a balance between your different responsibilities. Keep in mind that these roles can often conflict in terms of how you distribute your time, energy, and commitment. However, each should be recognized as an important component of your education and your preparation for the future.
